HOW DOES NCP HELP FRESHMEN ADJUST TO HIGH SCHOOL?
We recognize that it is difficult for students to adjust to any high School. Our “Freshman Academy” model helps students succeed in high school. All freshman have the same core teachers that meet on a regular basis to discuss student needs. The teachers, as a whole, make adjustments to meet the students where they are and help them be successful. All freshman also participate in a mandatory colloquium class that helps them with their time management and study skills.
